Hey!Chili is one of the newest restaurants on the Hockley scene and offers a selection of Southeast Asian dishes with a modern twist. The restaurant has a funky neon coloured sign and rather basic and minimal interior.
A stylish and affordable Spanish style tapas bar situated in the heart of the Hockley area has been a buzzing spot for regular Hockley diners since it opened its doors in 2016. Built on the reputation of its older sister ‘Iberico’ a long standing fine dining tapas restaurant a few minutes away in the Lace Market, Iberico is its faster and more casual partner.
The record store and venue from the iconic Rough Trade record label has stores in Bristol, London, New York and just round the corner from Fruit Market in Nottingham. Founded by Geoff Travis in 1976, Rough Trade began life as a record store in Ladbroke Grove, London.
Hockley is buzzing at the moment with new businesses opening and established businesses moving to the area. Mitch Farr founder of specialty coffee shop Effy has recently relocated to Heathcoat Street in Hockley to bring an extra special selection of coffee to the local area.

After 10 years in Hockley, street art and culture shop Montana moved to Sneinton Market avenues expanding into a bigger and better shop. Montana is an iconic shop in the city and has been the main supplier of artist paints for local artists and the only Montana shop in the UK.
