Fruit Market in Progress

We thought we’d give you a sneak peak into Phase 2 at Fruit Market so we met up with Development director Alec Hamlin and site manager xxxx from NDL to get a few photographs and see how things are progressing.

For health and safety reasons it's not possible to bring prospective home buyers on site however but it's great to be able to share an exciting phase of the project online.

Phase 2 is currently moving through the ‘shell phase’ which means the walls are built and the roofs are on. Over the coming months we’ll begin to see windows going into place, the ‘first fix’ of electrics and plumbing being installed and internal walls taking shape.

It's currently buzzing with activity with all the different trades working together and diggers and dumpers moving earth and materials around the site. While at this time of the year it’s muddy and cold and not the most glamorous of sites, for us it's exciting as we begin to see a building site transformed from plans on a piece of paper into real homes.
