Coffee going from strength to strength – Blend and Stewarts Coffee Roasters

Stewarts Coffee Roasters began hand roasting coffee back in the 80s long before specialty or artisan coffee was a thing. Since then the company has established itself as one of the much loved roasters in the city alongside their Blend cafe at Sneinton Market. Located on the edge of the market in one of the converted wholesale fruit and veg warehouses, Blend has become a hub of the community. An open plan, comfortable and spacious interior (one of the roomiest in the city?) has become a real focal point of the market and the surrounding creative community. A stop off on your way to work or a nice place to hang out with friends at the weekend Blend is a real asset for a developing neighbourhood like Sneinton Market. 

If you’re wondering where the coffee is roasted it’s just in the unit next door. Stewarts roast a range of coffee including espresso roasts, single origin coffees, fairtrade blends and their excellent Swiss Water De-caf. Coffee roasted on the Market will never be fresher than from Stewarts or Blend. A neighbourhood is perhaps not a neighbourhood without a good cafe. Long live the local roasts!
