Blueprint,working in collaboration with the architects and you.

Fruit Market is a collaborative custom-build housing project being enabled by Blueprint, the company behind some of Nottingham’s most innovative and successful low-energy housing projects.

After receipt of initial expressions of interest, we'll contact you with more details of the development and a timescale for the next stages. 

Once we've identified a group of people who are ready and able to participate in the project, you'll be asked to join the development group, make an initial, returnable deposit and the process will begin. 
As developers, we will  provide a fully serviced site and will enable you to create a home of your choice.  You will work with the project architect and directly shape the design of your home and neighbourhood.  We hope to offer prices from £200,000.

The first phase of the Fruit Market project will include around 15 homes and will be a combination of apartments and houses.

The benefits of collaborative developments

A collaborative development, popularly known as ‘co-housing’ or ‘group custom-build’ is commonplace throughout Europe and is a tried and tested development model. 

Collaborative developments consist of private individual homes with outside spaces with access to community spaces and facilities that are shared by the group.  Shared spaces could include communal gardens, a shared room or apartment that can be booked out for your visitors, or something as simple as a shared bike sheds or garages.  

The private elements are individually customised and owned and the shared elements are designed, owned and managed by the group. 

The customisation process of the homes is a bit like designing and building your own house without the headache of starting from scratch.  The architect will provide design options that will allow you to shape your dream home. 

Our principle aim for Fruit Market is to establish a great neighbourhood that fits everyone’s needs and to build a community where the residents are invested in their own development.
