Fruit Market residents offer their thoughts on why they are moving to Nottingham's most forward thinking development.
What is your name? Ged and Inga.
What do you do? I work as an analyst for Experian, Inga is a designer creating natural cosmetics and soap.
How did you get involved in Fruit Market? We have been looking for a house for a while when I noticed a property on the Green Street development. One Google search led to another then I came across Blueprint and subsequently Fruit market.
What kind of house do you live in now? Renting 3 bed Victorian terraced house in Lenton area.
What kind of house do you hope to have at the end of the project? 3 bed, modern, bright and cozy.
What aspects of the project most attracted you? The ability to customise both layout and features is definitely appealing. We are both quite picky and opinionated in what we would like to have in our first house, but none of the properties on the market could fulfill those wishes. Strong community, another aspect unique to Fruit market, is a rare gem. We have met a few interesting personalities on this project and we look forward to having them as our neighbours!
Fruit Market presents an opportunity share spaces with your neighbours, what aspect of this are you most excited about? Community space where we can interact with the neighbours.
What attracts you to living in the Sneinton Market area? Proximity to city centre, NG1 postcode. This area seems just like an extension to Hockley.
